Sarah & Josh’s engagement session at Historic Jerusalem Mill Village

The Couple

Historic Jerusalem Mill, Sarah & Josh are a sweet couple. They reached out to me last summer about their wedding that is scheduled for this summer. They are tying the knot at Rockfield Manor in August and I can’t wait to celebrate with them. Rockfield Manor is a beautiful community center located in Bel Air, Maryland and is known for its Manor house and romantic garden. 

The Engagement Session

We met at the beginning of this fall for a fun engagement session at  Historic Jerusalem Mill Village. Jerusalem Mill Village is a living history museum that spans the 18th through early 20th centuries. One of the oldest and most intact mill villages in the U.S. state of Maryland, Jerusalem is located in Harford County, along the Little Gunpowder Falls River. It provides a timeless rustic backdrop, perfect for fall sessions! Josh serves in the military and was home visiting so we took advantage of his time at home.

Josh rocked his military outfit in the beginning of the shoot and Sarah sported a cute fall outfit that complimented so well. We finished  the shoot with a more relaxed outfit change and shot into the beginning of sunset. I always encourage my couples to bring two outfits. One causal and the other more dressy. It gives you a nice variety with your final images and helps to show off your personalities and individual styles.

I am so excited for their upcoming wedding and to reunite with them.
