This ignited my passion for photography, and from that moment on, I was hooked. Fast forward to 2012, when I was given the opportunity to assist with my first wedding. Witnessing the elegance of every detail and the potential for wedding imagery to be captured artistically rather than staged convinced me that this was my calling for life.

At JDP, We Believe...
Listen... I have been photographing weddings for over 12 years and I know what to expect. I am also not one to cry but the second my mom zipped up my wedding dress... Cue the waterworks.

So this moment for me was super special. Not because it was the first time I saw my husband Nick on our wedding day. No we did a covid pre wedding and a first look and let me tell you it was a life saver. It was the moment I got to walk down the aisle in my wedding dress with my dad to the song I specifically picked. It was the most unreal experience and it brought me so much happiness.

I love to dance. For me I wanted to really prioritize this part of the evening. I love the energy of what dancing and celebrating. I was the first one out on the dance floor and the last to leave. I had the best time and I think letting yourself enjoy your reception makes the entire process worth every penny.
