Samantha & Sean tied the knot last April 27th 2019! They had the most romantic wedding at The Magnolia Manor in New Windsor Maryland. Since then they have also welcomed their first baby into the family. Both work in law enforcement and met for the first time during a ride along. Samantha accompanied Sean on one of his patrols and it was love at first sight. The pair complement each other so well. Between sharing their love for the law and their cute dog Junior they couldn’t be a better match.
Seasons at Magnolia Manor is a beautiful Victorian-style B&B historic home in New Windsor Maryland. It is set on 3 countryside acres. It’s cozy, traditionally decorated and offers the most timeless backdrops for your wedding.
We started off the morning photographing the beautiful bridal details. details. Samantha rocked two pairs of shoes for her wedding. Simple and white heals and the cutest white sneakers for the reception! Her details were the perfect mix of romantic and fun. The girls had beautiful matching mint robes and Samantha’s dress was perfection. It had the most amazing lace details and was the perfect fit for her.
Samantha decided to save the first look with Sean as she was walking down the aisle. However she decided to have the most precious first look with her father! It was one of the sweetest moments of the day. I love having a Daddy Daughter first look. I think it is so special and I think it is one of the most gratifying moments to witness.
Even though Sean is a fearless police officer he was definitely a little shaky when trying to put on his jacket. It was so cute to see how excited and nervous he was to see his beautiful bride! The ceremony started off with a beautiful violin solo as guests took their seats. It was a windy day so we ended up moving the ceremony and reception into the old pool house which ended up being so romantic and provided the most amazing light. Sean’s face lit up with joy and happy tears as he saw Samantha for the first time walking down the aisle. It was such a touching moment and the most magical ceremony.
The reception was beautifully decorated with soft greenery, sunflowers and special memories for the couple! Sean & his mom choreographed the cutest mother son dance. It started off slow and traditional then suddenly broke into iconic songs like thriller. The two were so entertaining and had everyone at the edge of their seats laughing and enjoying the show! I must say Sean mom, Mrs. Sherri schooled her son with the dance moves!
During sunset the two broke away from all of the dancing to share an intimate moment alone and take advantage of the beautiful skyline on the farm. Once they had a few moments of privacy and we were able to snap some amazing images we headed back to the party where the guests partied the night away. This April marks their 1 year anniversary and I am so happy for all that this first year of marriage has brought them. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Slattery on your first addition to the family and Happy Anniversary!!!
