In the heart of Baltimore lies a neighborhood that exudes charm and character – Canton. Its cobblestone streets, waterfront views, and vibrant atmosphere provide the perfect backdrop for capturing love in its purest form. As a Baltimore wedding photographer, I had the privilege of photographing an engagement session in this picturesque locale, where modernity meets romance in every frame.

 Alex & Dan are the sweetest couple. Their Baltimore engagement session was very picturesque. The two live in the historic waterfront neighborhood of Canton in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The neighborhood is along Baltimore’s outer harbor in the southeastern section of the city, roughly two miles east of Baltimore’s downtown district and next to or near the neighborhoods of Patterson Park, Fell’s Point, Highlandtown, and Brewers Hill.

Canton is considered one of Baltimore’s trendiest and vibrant neighborhoods, known for its family-friendly community, urban lifestyle and hot spot for the social scene.

The Engagement Session

Alex & Dan love their city in the fall season when the air is crisp and there are beautiful colors in the trees. We decided to use their neighborhood as their backdrop and spent our time wandering through the beautiful Patterson Park which is the oldest park in the city of Baltimore. We started at the historic Pagoda which is  known for its oriental architectural appearance, the design was intended to reflect the bold Victorian style of the day. From the top of the tower you can view downtown, Baltimore’s many neighborhoods, the Patapsco River, the Key Bridge and Fort McHenry. The two got super cozy while soaking in the warm rays of sunshine mixed with the fall breeze. The park offered so many beautiful fall colors which helped to achieve the fall scene they desired.

We finished the night off with sunset pictures on the Canton waterfront which gave us the most romantic sunset. Alex & Dan are so incredible to work with and have the best chemistry I am really looking forward to these two tying the knot next year at the timeless Belmont Manor! Their engagement session was full of so much laughter and love and was the most fun.
