This beach engagement session is all about summer vibes in the middle of winter! Jill  & Matt were after the perfect location to create some romantic summery images to match their August wedding at Blue Moon Rising on Deep Creek Lake. After some brainstorming I suggested the beautiful North Point State Park which is located in Baltimore County on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay and is rich in natural beauty.  The park offers amazing scenic views overlooking the Chesapeake Bay which creates the perfect setting for a summer engagement session in the middle of winter.

 We lucked out after days of rain and morning showers we had a fairly warm day for February in Maryland and the rain cleared out in time for sunset. Normally this time of the year brings chilly temperatures, snow and wind. However we have been blessed with a few warm days that have been in the 60’s and today was one of those lucky days. We started on the dock. Jill told me it was perfect because Matt Purposed to her on a dock while they were on vacation. The sky was a perfect shade of blue and pinks creating the most brilliant fine art look. We took advantage of the small beach area and dreamy pier for a summer fun backdrop. Jill & Matt rocked their session and nailed the summer look and we created some amazing timeless images for their engagement session.
