Erin & Kyle met while working together at a physical therapy clinic together. I learned at the wedding Kyle was the guy who said he would never get married or settle down but it seems he met his perfect match in Erin. They both are fun loving, love sports, and one of the things they bond over is their love for beer and each other! They choose to get married at the beautiful Gardens at Bethlehem Farms. Erin’s wedding vision was a rustic barn that fit the budget and felt like more than just a wedding venue. She loved the coordinator and the charm of the grounds. It wasn’t too formal and it seemed like a great place for them to party the night away. They choose the Gardens at Bethlehem which is a beautiful, rustic farmhouse in Rising Sun Maryland. The rustic farmhouse is framed by trees, meadows and beautiful flower beds. It provides a down to earth atmosphere and stunning views.
This entire day was full of beautiful moments that were truly inspiring. These two really are meant to be. They are strong individuals and an even stronger couple. I’ve known Erin since high school. We both went to Catoctin high school together and we worked at a local camp together for a few years. So I was honored when she reached out to me to let me know she was engaged and trusted me to capture her wedding day. Erin loves Christmas and winter so we originally had their engagement session at a local Tree Farm outside of Baltimore. We then had a spring session to showcase more of her upcoming wedding’s colors and spring feel. Originally they were planning for a May 2020 wedding.
Unfortunately Covid-19 forced them to push back to December. But the two wanted to honor their original wedding date and had a small backyard ceremony with their families in hopes that they would be able to truly celebrate in December. At first it was a bummer having to reschedule but we looked on the bright side because we had already had a winter engagement session and Erin LOVES that time of the year so planning went on with higher hopes… However, once again Covid became a problem and forced Erin & Kyle to reschedule for the third time. At this point it was truly devastating and with all the uncertainty they decided waiting an entire year would be the best decision. So November 2021 was the new date.
Despite the frustration, tears and multiple reschedules the pair finally got to renew their vows in front of all their family and friends. There were so many moments throughout Erin & Kyle’s wedding day that I thought to myself, “This is why I love my job.” Between the bride’s first dance with her Mama to Kyle seeing Erin walk down the aisle after years of planning and multiple Covid reschedules. They were blessed with a beautiful fall day that was crisp but not too cold and full of sunshine. Erin’s girls were in the most beautiful, bright and cheerful Coral dresses and Kyle and the guys rocked sharp Navy suits. The couple and their guests really lived the night up. They danced for hours and had the most fun. They finished the night off with a fun sparkler exit. Erin says now that the wedding is over she is most looking forward to, “Our life together, and to continue to grow together!” Congratulations to the Water’s. I am truly so happy for you two!
