Let’s relive this romantic Penn Station engagement session. Nichole and Alan are a sweet Baltimore couple who are tying the knot this September at the Historic Oakland Mansion. The couple met in College years ago then Weddings became re-acquainted after 20 years at a college homecoming event. They are apart of a brother and sister sorority/fraternity on their former campus in Baltimore and wanted to incorporate their paraphernalia in their shoot. Our campus is located in Baltimore.
The couple commute each day to Washington D.C for work. They spend a lot of their time at the Penn Station Train station catching the train so we thought it would be fun to start their session off at the place where they spend most of their time. Penn Station Baltimore is located on a rise in the land between the busy Amtrak Northeast Corridor and the Jones Falls Expressway. It features a beautifully landscaped front plaza that leads downhill to distinctive areas such as the gracious Mount Vernon neighborhood which is home of America’s first Washington Monument. Choosing the train station as part of their shoot created the most romantic scene for the couple since it is a big part of their love story.
In addition to traveling and spending time with family Nichole & Alan like to spend time at Historic Federal Hill for date nights in the spring and summer. The beautiful park creates a very timeless scene and the sunset’s are beautiful while you enjoy views of the Baltimore City skyline.
