Rebecca and Adrian had always dreamed of getting married in the fall—and their wedding was nothing short of perfection. Located in the breathtaking Appalachian Mountains, Mt. Defiance Cider Barn provided a gorgeous backdrop for their special day. With its rustic charm, stunning mountain views, and apple orchard, it was an ideal setting for the couple to exchange their vows surrounded by family and friends.

The Venue
With Mt. Defiance Cider Barn as their venue, Rebecca and Adrian were able to have both the outdoor wedding they wanted while also taking advantage of the barn’s picturesque interior. The beautiful barn is located in the cutest small town in Middleburg that makes you feel like you are roaming through a cozy little European town. Middleburg is home to lot’s of beautiful wineries and distilleries.  It’s surrounded by rich, beautiful woods that allows for the perfect amount of shade for couples tying the knot during the middle of the day. The barn is cozy inside and allows for guests to spread out and even admire the party from the loft above the dance floor. The barn really created such a timeless landscape and really provided the warm rustic feel the couple wanted. From the moment guests arrived, they were welcomed with a warm atmosphere filled with love and laughter. The ceremony took place outside under a floral filled archway with twinkling lights strung above. Afterward, everyone headed inside the cider barn to celebrate the newlyweds’ special day with delicious food, drinks, and dancing!

The Details
Rebecca and Adrian put a lot of thought into making sure that every detail of their wedding was perfect—from Rebecca’s stunning lace gown to Adrian’s handsome navy suit to all of the decorations that tied together an autumnal theme throughout their venue. Their reception tables were adorned with pumpkins, candles, eucalyptus leaves, dried wheat stalks, and warm-toned florals in shades of orange and red adding a romantic touch to each table setting. It truly felt like a cozy autumn evening come alive! Rebecca’s ladies rocked the most beautiful Caramel brown slip dresses. Her florals were inspired by sunset hues with lots of greenery. After getting dressed she shared the sweetest first look with her father and brother. Their family is super close and her MOH has been her best friend since childhood. How cute is that?

The Ceremony 

The warm September evening provided the perfect atmosphere for the ceremony. The vision being sunset fall tones focusing on assorted fall florals, caramel brown tones. Their ceremony was short and sweet. Officiated by Rebecca’s godfather who has the cutest things to say. He referenced how warm and inviting the pair are, how strong they are together and their time at Syracuse University where they met and both played huge roles on their college sports team. The couple wrote their own vows that they shared during the ceremony and you could just see how much love they had for one another. Rebecca praised Adrian’s positive attitude and how he helps her see things in a more positive light. Adrian talked about Rebecca being his rock and the greatest adventure. After the ceremony guests were invited to the front lawn to enjoy the beautiful views, sip cider and play fun lawn games like cornhole!

The Reception
No wedding would be complete without food and drinks! The couple served up some tasty local dishes. Homemade pumpkin butter for the table and party favors.  As for drinks? There were plenty of craft beers on tap from local breweries plus specialty cocktails made up just for this occasion featuring the venues award winning cider! The barn was timelessly decorated with simple florals and twinkly lights. the couple and their guests danced the night away then ended with the most romantic sparkler send off. It was perfect!

Conclusion
Rebecca & Adrian’s Mt Defiance Cider Barn Wedding was truly something special! From start to finish they created an unforgettable experience that perfectly encapsulated what it means to get married in the fall; surrounded by loved ones in such a gorgeous location is something that all couples should strive for when planning their own dream wedding! Adrian was so cute getting ready. He was so anxious to see Rebecca, checking over every detail of his suit to make sure he was looking perfect for his woman. He rocked an amazing floral tie and s fresh navy suit.

The pair shared an intimate first look before their guests arrived for the ceremony. They wanted to be able to spend time at their cocktail hour and really share time with their friends and family and knew that by doing a first look they could really take time to spend with the people who matter most to them.

These two killed it on the dance floor and really showed their guests all the love. The party ended the event with a romantic sparkler exit and lots of hugs and appreciation for everyone who came to support them.
